The comparison is made on the following editions:

- The Professional Edition of acZoomIn is targeted for professional users, having needed professional results by using a multitude of vizualisation tools.
- The Enterprise Edition of acZoomIn is targeted for professional users, included plugins developers, who want to have all vizualisation features available.
- The Academic Edition of acZoomIn is targeted for universities and schools only. This edition provides all the functionalities of Enterprise Edition
- The Free Edition of acZoomIn is targeted for users who want to have the possibilities to vizualise data, but in return for being free, provides less features of vizualisation than Professional or Enterprise Editions.
This edition is free of charge, but not freely redistribuable.

Loading and saving file in binary format
An option allows you to choose the binary format of an acZoomIn file when writing and reading. In addition, a password can be used to protect the file.
